Policies

Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations and orders accepted by Auscraft Furniture. By accepting a quote, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, protect both parties, and comply with relevant Australian Consumer Law. 1. Payment Terms A 50% deposit is required to commence production. The balance must be paid in full prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or credit card (via secure invoice link). Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available unless specifically pre-approved. Ownership of all products remains with Auscraft Furniture until full payment is received. We reserve the right to delay or withhold delivery if any payment is outstanding. 2. Warranty & Product Care Hardwood tables include a 3-year structural warranty. Pine tables include a 1-year structural warranty. Warranties apply to manufacturing defects and structural faults only (e.g. joint failure, breakage). The following are not covered: Damage due to misuse, neglect, or improper storage Weather-related wear on finishes (e.g. oil, paint, varnish) Natural timber movement (e.g. cracking, fading, warping) Customers are required to follow our Maintenance Guidelines, which are provided with each order. Products exposed to conditions contrary to our recommendations, especially those meant for undercover use, may forfeit warranty rights. Buyers are responsible for choosing the correct timber type and finish for their application. Lack of awareness or failure to seek advice does not exempt customers from responsibility. 3. Delivery, Site Access & Responsibility Deliveries are made using our own vehicles unless otherwise arranged. Delivery timeframes are indicative only and may vary due to production schedules, road conditions, weather, or limited access. Customer Responsibilities: Provide clear site access details in advance (e.g. stairs, balconies, narrow doorways). If not provided, goods will be delivered to the nearest accessible location. Auscraft is not liable for failed or partial delivery caused by access issues. Be available to inspect and accept the order upon delivery. Claims must be made within 48 hours. Delivery Options: Standard Delivery: A customer or representative must be present to assist the driver. If no one is available, redelivery fees will apply. Premium Delivery: We deliver and place the product without assistance, provided access has been pre-approved. If a delivery or collection is delayed due to the customer, storage fees may apply. Flat-Pack Items: Must be assembled by the customer or a qualified installer. Damage resulting from incorrect assembly is not covered under warranty. Optional paid assembly services may be available upon request. 4. Timber Variations & Optional Features All products are handmade using real timber. Natural variations in colour, grain, and texture are normal and not considered defects. Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may differ due to the uniqueness of each plank. Optional features (e.g. umbrella holes, leg extensions, custom finishes) must be explicitly included in the accepted quote. If not listed, they will not be included. Quotes are considered accepted in their final form. 5. Refunds, Cancellations & Returns As all products are custom-made, deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced. Refunds will not be issued for: Change of mind Natural timber variations or colour/finish differences Improper maintenance or unsuitable environmental exposure Order cancellations must be submitted in writing prior to production. Once production begins, Auscraft reserves the right to retain the deposit to cover materials and labour costs incurred. 6. Limitation of Liability Auscraft Furniture is not liable for: Damage to property during delivery unless caused by proven negligence Natural variation in timber colour, grain, or finish Outcomes resulting from failure to follow our care instructions Public liability insurance applies where required by law. Customers are responsible for informing us of any potential access issues in advance.
